A: Enrollment is exclusively available to individuals participating in the Do Good On Purpose initiative who currently reside in Starter Village, Good Samaritan Village, or Permanent Party Village.
A: No, this program is fully funded and provided at no cost to participants in the Do Good On Purpose programs. However, students must commit to 20 hours of community service per week while living in the village.
A: Participants cannot apply directly. Instead, they must speak with their Do Good On Purpose case manager, who will determine eligibility and assist with the enrollment process.
A: Graduates have two career pathways:
🎓 Jobs for Hire – Gain direct employment through partnerships with auto shops and dealerships.
🚗 Harvest Business Academy – Continue education in business and entrepreneurship training.
A: Students receive hands-on training in:
• Engine diagnostics and repair
• Brake systems and suspension
• Electrical and computer systems
• Preventative maintenance
• Bodywork and refinishing
A: While the program does not provide direct ASE certification, students receive structured training that prepares them to pursue industry-recognized certifications.
A: The program length varies based on individual progress, but most students complete their training in 6-12 months.
A: Yes! Donated vehicles provide hands-on learning opportunities for students and once repaired, are awarded to participants in Do Good On Purpose programs.
